The RSV-Q Real Time PCR Kit uses a single-tube multiplex RT-PCR workflow to detect RSV-specific RNA sequences directly from respiratory specimens. The assay employs target-specific primers and fluorescent probes for RSV detection, while a separate Internal Control (IC) is simultaneously detected in the single step to validate assay performance.
