The SpiNXT Cell Free DNA Extraction Kit is based on a silica gel spin column purification method designed for the efficient isolation of circulating cell free DNA from human plasma and serum samples. During the procedure, samples are lysed and digested using lysis buffer and proteinase K, allowing DNA to be released into the solution. The lysate is then applied to a silica membrane, where nucleic acids selectively bind, while proteins and other impurities are removed through sequential washing steps. Finally, purified DNA is eluted using a low-salt buffer, making it suitable for downstream molecular analysis in clinical laboratory workflows, including prenatal screening, chromosomal abnormality detection, oncology-related testing, and biomarker analysis.
